Parramatta District Men’s Shed featured in Parramatta Advertiser
The Parramatta District Men’s Shed was recently featured in the Parramatta Advertiser,
The article focused on the upcoming official opening, happening on the 15th of March, inviting members of the public to come along for the opening and have a look around the shed.
Not only did the article talk about the official opening, but also talked about how we got to this stage, as well as highlighting one of the main purposes of the shed which is to tackle the issue of men’s health by getting men out of the house and talking with their peers.
We’d like to thank the Parramatta Advertiser for including this article about our men’s shed in their paper. If you’d like to read the full article, you can find it on the Parramatta Advertiser website here.

Boronia Multicultural Garden Project
Recently, members of the Parramatta District Men’s Shed undertook a project to build a community garden bed for a community centre, Boronia Multicultural Services. The project involved plenty of time and effort from the men of our shed, and has turned out really well.
This was a fantastic project for the men of the shed to get involved in, and we’d like to thank everyone who gave their time. The final result is great, and will certainly be an asset to the Parramatta and Toongabbie community.

Parramatta Men’s Shed has a new home
On Wednesday 19th, the Parramatta District Men’s Shed was featured in the Parramatta Sun, talking about the upcoming Open Day, inviting members of the public to attend the event.
At the event will be the Federal and Local members for Parramatta, as well as the Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Cr Chedid who have all supported the Parramatta District Men’s Shed throughout it’s formation.
From the demand for memberships at the Northmead Shed, it soon became obvious that there needed to be a Parramatta Men’s Shed – that’s where Parramatta District Men’s Shed Inc comes in.
